Famous for the sunrise and sunset view, Sarangkot is a place where you can have the view of Mt. Dhaulagiri to the west, Mt. Machapuchre and Annapurna 2. Sarangkot offers one of the closest views of the Himalayas in the world.

6. Visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave

This cave is one of the deadliest forms of cave you will ever see in your life. The sound of Devi’s fall is constantly heard from this place. The whole outlook of the cave will give you the feeling of Bear Grylls in “man versus wild”, though you do not have to worry about food and your survival. The cave is believed to be discovered in the 16th century by local people where they found shrines and statues of Lord Shiva, Parvati, Nageswor and Saraswati.

7. Devi’s Fall

It is a simple waterfall if I am supposed to give it a kind but it is the massive one. The story it holds, infact the story behind the name of this waterfall is what makes a person curious enough to visit it. Along with the waterfall, there is a luck pond as well where you are supposed to throw a coin.  If it falls near to the statue of the god then you are considered lucky. In the entrance of this place, you will see a number of vendor shops lined up which will be selling souvenirs.

8. Bat Cave

It is also a cave but as you reach the main or the central part of the cave, you can see hundreds of bats hanging on the upper surface of the cave. This is where it gets its name from basically.

However, do not get excited that you are going to see the cave of Batman. Well it can be a great destination for DC fans, specially Bruce Wayne’s fans. Ha Ha!

9. Bindabasini Temple

Bindabasini temple is another famous temple and religious site in Pokhara. It is one of the oldest temple situated in Nepal with the idol of Goddess Bhagwati. This temple lies at 3000 feet above the sea level.

10. Mahendra Cave

Mahendra cave is one of the biggest attarctions in the city of Pokhara. It is a rare example of cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites. A staute of hindu Lord Shiva is found inside this cave. This cave is surrounded by greenery and can also offers a beautiful view.
