The Buddhist stupa of Boudha dominates the skyline and its massive Mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. In 1979, it was declared as a UNESCO World heritage site. Pashupatinath is a holy Hindu temple of Lord Shiva located on the banks of the Bagmati River.
