13 DAYS IN NEPAL (EVEREST BASE CAMP)

DAY 12: NAMCHE-LUKLA

We already had been to Namche bazar so I was not very excited this time but still the bakery products that we had tried in the Namche bakery was something that drove me to that place. Also the thought of going back to my home and meeting my parents after so many days was the reason to still get me excited. I rarely had a talk to my parents, they might have been worried about where I am, what I ate and what I was doing. The only thing I got for them from my whole trip was that cheese that I got from Phortse otherwise I was going back to my home empty handed. The fact that Namche had enough Wi-Fi facility and all the comfortable accommodation was also one of the reason that made me happy. I now could finally write my experience of the Everest base camp trip and post blogs all over the social site. I thought this would be a really great idea, to increase the number of tourist entering my country the next year, when the season for climbing the Everest base camp appears. The fact that 2020 has been declared as the tourism year in Nepal, I thought writing and posting those blogs would really make me the part of this campaign and I would have at least some contribution towards the development of my country.

After arriving from the Phortse to Namche bazaar, we had to walk for 5.7 kilometers to reach to the gate of Everest that is Namche bazaar. The distance was comparably not much then the distance we had walked earlier. We reached to the hotel were we had left for our trip. The owners were happy to see us. After arriving there, both of u, I and scarlet jumped to our respective beds and we literally had our phones in our hand. I called my parents and told them that I will be coming home soon, they really got happy. Surfing the social site, done with all the blogs writing, we were called for the dinner. We went down and had our meal. It was the last meal of ours and day on our trip of Everest base camp. After the dinner, we slept.

We had to wake up very early today because we had to reach Lukla within a day rather than staying at Phakding. We had to walk for 8 hours in total. We had to walk for 5 hours to reach to Phakding and from Phakding we had to walk for 3 hours to reach to Lukla where the airport was located. So started our trek again. This time it was not much hard to walk the same distance, as we were descending. And we had the excitement of returning home, back to the people who loved us. On the way to Lukla, we took some time and rest in the same hotel of Phakding where we had stayed while going upwards. We had our lunch there and after resting there for a while we continued our trip. The weather was hot as it was the afternoon. We already knew that , the time we reach to Lukla it will already be evening.
