Chisapani Trek

Trekking around the valley, this Chisapani trek is the nearest trekking route and easily accessible. However, the feeling of living out in the remoteness is still there. This is an ideal short trek passing through dense forest, waterfalls, typical local villages and no doubt of panoramic view.

Leaving the crowd of town, we head towards the Shivapuri National Park. As we start hiking the chirping of birds echos the dense forest. We pass through some typical local villages amd gorgeous waterfalls and enjoy the sunrise and sunset views. You will be amazed how the snow-capped mountain revolutionizes its color after being smack by dawn and dusk.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to the Capital of Nepal “KATHMANDU”. Upon Arrival our representative will welcome you and drive you to Hotel. Refresh and Relax

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu

“Kathmandu” which has exclusive blend of art, culture, history and religion. It bears varieties from pre-history to modern art, culture and custom. Today we explore some of it most popular UNESCO heritage sites.  Afternoon walk around the main tourist hub of Kathmandu and prepare for your trek.

Day 3: Kathmandu drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani

Leave the crowd of Kathmandu and reach sundarijal after an hour and start the hiking steep uphill through waterfall, small village, reservoir and reach Mulkharka which is a small settlement of Tamang people. We continue our uphill again and birds sound continuously echoes after we enter the oaks and Rhododendron forest. Chisapani lays just the other side of the Shivapuri hill and waits us with the view over the Himalayas.

Day 4: Chisapani – Nagarkot, stay overnight in teahouse

Today we are heading to one of the popular places which is situated at the height of 2200 meter and renowned for its sunrise view. Today is a long day but the trail is almost gradual walk through forest and small villages. After a final uphill walk, we reach at Nagarkot, a hills station with breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayas, rolling hills, deep valleys and lush pine forests.

Day 5: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel and back to Kathmandu

After capturing amazing sunrise and majestic mountain in your camera we head toward another beautiful sport equally popular for spectacular view over the Himalaya and green hill.  The trail start with some level and gradual uphill at first with some section of steep up hill and downhill on the middle before a final gradual downhill walk to our final destination of Dhulikhel  Take a drive for about an hour back to Kathmandu.
