The only international airport in Nepal is in the capital –Kathmandu. So to reach to the other destinations, you have two options-either use domestic airway or go by bus. I  would suggest you to go by bus if you are someone for whom adventure and thrill matters more than comfort. Going by bus will help you to picture the whole Nepali scenario and it is fun. There are mountains, waterfalls, rivers, etc. that you can enjoy on a road trip.

If you are someone with lower immune system then I would suggest you to buy all the required medicines when you are in city area otherwise it will be hard for you to find even a single medicine store  and even if you are able to find  it will cost you more.

Now focusing on buying the trekking stuffs, Thamel is a really great place or you can visit the local market at night  for buying the clothes and jackets. Prices are very afforadable and quality is also good.
