Day 04: Namche – Tyangboche (3860m)
Day 05: Tyangboche – Dingboche (4300m)
Day 06: Rest day/Acclimatization Day
Day 07: Dingboche – Chhukung (4730m)
Day 08: Rest Day and Climb Chhukung Ri (5550m)
Day 09: Chhukung to Island Peak Base camp (5200m)
Day 10: Pre-Climb training on Island Peak Base Camp
Day 11-12: Climbing period (Island Peak Base Camp to Summit 6189m and back to Base Camp)
Day 13: Island Peak Base Camp to Pangboche (3985m)
Day 14: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day 15: Namche Bazaar – Lukla (2840m)
Day 16: Lukla – Kathmandu
This peak was given the name “Island Peak” as it resembles to an island surrounded by a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. It is also called Imja Tse but it is more popular as “Island Peak”.
