How to reach Manang

Manang is a barren place and also known as the “desert of Nepal”. The way to get to Manang is either by air or by road travel. If you choose road way, then you have to first travel to Pokhara and from Pokhara you can get a bus/jeep for Manang. If you want to take direct route from Kathmandu then you can get private car or jeep. This will take longer, it will add one more day in your trip. Exploring Manang through roadway is really adventurous, this will make you feel the most daring road way trip. It is the cheapest method of travelling to Manang.

Instead of travelling through road way and shorten your day in your trip, you can also choose air way which you can use from Kathmandu or Pokhara which saves you a day. It costs you more but is faster than the road way.
