Founder & Personal Trainer

With more than 16 years of experience in the tourism industry, Warish has dedicated his career to promoting Nepal as one of the world’s premier adventure travel destinations. Throughout his journey at Highlander Trekking & Expedition, he has developed extensive expertise in trekking and expedition management, destination development, client relations, risk management, and customized travel experiences. His deep understanding of the Himalayan tourism landscape, combined with a modern business mindset, has helped strengthen the company’s reputation among travelers and industry partners worldwide.

Recognizing the importance of global education and professional development, Warish pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in the United Kingdom before earning his MBA in Nepal. This international academic background, combined with years of practical experience in the field, has enabled him to introduce contemporary business strategies, digital innovation, and customer-focused management practices into the company’s operations. His leadership style emphasizes adaptability, sustainability, and long-term value creation for clients, employees, and local communities.

Beyond his contributions to Highlander, Warish has established himself as a respected figure within Nepal’s tourism and mountain safety sectors. He was elected as an Executive Board Member of the Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA), one of Nepal’s most important organizations dedicated to high-altitude health, mountain safety, and emergency rescue services. Serving alongside distinguished mountaineers, medical experts, tourism leaders, and government representatives, he contributes to policy development, organizational governance, volunteer doctor deployment programs, and emergency response planning that protect thousands of trekkers, climbers, and local guides each year.

His commitment to leadership extends beyond business and tourism. Driven by a vision for a stronger, more prosperous Nepal, Warish entered public life and contested the 2026 General Election as one of the emerging voices of Nepal’s younger generation. His candidacy was rooted in a belief that meaningful change requires active participation, innovative thinking, and a commitment to public service. Through his campaign, he advocated for economic growth, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, tourism development, employment generation, improved governance, and sustainable national progress.

His decision to step into the political arena reflected a broader commitment to contributing to Nepal’s future beyond the private sector. As a young leader, he championed the idea that Nepal’s greatest resource is its people and that creating opportunities for the next generation is essential for the country’s long-term prosperity. His vision focused on bridging the gap between traditional leadership and modern solutions while encouraging greater youth participation in shaping the nation’s future.

Whether in tourism, community development, mountain safety, or public service, Warish remains dedicated to creating lasting positive impact. He continues to work toward strengthening Nepal’s global reputation, supporting sustainable economic growth, and building opportunities that benefit both local communities and international visitors alike.

Today, Warish combines entrepreneurial leadership, industry expertise, and civic responsibility to help guide Highlander Trekking & Expedition into its next chapter while remaining committed to the broader goal of contributing to Nepal’s progress and prosperity.

“Leadership is not measured by the position you hold, but by the positive change you create for people, communities, and future generations.
