Daydream for wildlife photographers

Established in 1973 A.D, CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK has been serving as a sanctuary and protected reserve in the southern lowlands of NEPAL. This area consists of dense jungles, grassy plains and large rivers that protects bird species, rare wildlife including leopards, Bengal tigers, one horned rhinos and other rare mammals. You can enjoy jungle safari, bath with elephants and enjoy the view of rare animals. And guess what??? Falling for landscape of MUSTANG

A vast and arid valley, with a beautiful composition of eroded canyons, vividly colored stratified rock formations and barren high-altitude deserts is what Mustang is all about. Its breathtaking landscape is what makes it more desirable and picture perfect. The aerial view of the valley is amazing and is an attraction to indoor and outdoor tourism.

Buddha’s land

A thirty-six meter high stupa, surrounded by uncountable number of monasteries, built in the shape of mandala – Boudhanath stupa, listed amongst the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE is one of the largest unique structure’s stupas in the world. The Tibetan flag that is tied up to the top of the stupa, make it more dramatic and alluring.

Annapurna sanctuary

Sitting at an altitude of over 4000 meter, Annapurna sanctuary is a high glacial basin lying 40 km directly north of Pokhara, dense tropical jungles of Rhododendron and Bamboo are in southern facing slopes. Forming the base of one of the routes to Annapurna range, the number of trekkers to the sanctuary has increased substantially.

Phewa Lake

The semi natural freshwater lake, located at an altitude of 742 meter and covers an area of about 4.43 kilometer square, Phewa Lake gives a different dimension to the whole outlook of Pokhara. This lake includes a temple called Tal Bahari along with the very famous   kaskikot and sarangkot. People who paraglide from Sarangkot usually can capture themselves in the air with a vast lake.

Hanuman Dhoka Square

A complex of structure with the royal palace of Malla and Shah Kings in Kathmandu valley, Hanuman Dhoka is a very famous site amongst locals and foreigners. Near the king Pratap Malla’s column countless of pigeons are found where a candid shot would be magical. This place is a great destination for people interested in street photography.

Bhaktapur

A recent entrance into the New Year and all I can remember is Bisket Jatra. This is the old tradition where Newari community gathers to celebrate the initiation of New Year on Bikram Sambat.  This jatra focuses on pulling chariots of twi deities, Bhairav and goddess Bhadrakali. Along with the local tradition, the local curd that is Juju Dhau is also a famous product of Bhaktapur.
