Technically not a difficult climbing peak but need to be good shape and acclimatize with the height.
During our trip we enjoy the lower section of annapuarna region and its beautiful view point, passing through rhododendron forest, rivers, stunning sunrise and gaining the height slowly up to the Annapurna base camp and we camp further up in the moraine and get prepare for our climb. We gain the ridge again to fix our high camp and further crossing the glacier we head for our steep climb to the top of tent peak.
We leave early in the morning from Kathmandu and make our way along river valleys, past terraced fields to Pokhara and stay overnight.Driving Time: approx.7 hours

A short distance after Tadapani, the trail veers northwards and comes out into a small clearing before dropping sharply to Chiukle, where there are a few lodges. A maze of small paths leads down through terraced fields to a large suspension bridge over the KimringKhola. After the bridge, we climb up past a school and along the terraces to the small village of KlisigoChiukle. After a while we will see a succession of waterfalls. From here the trail climbs a little, continuing along the terraces to join the main Ghandrung - Chomrong route. Chomrong itself is a beautiful village, typically Gurung in style, situated in the lap of the great Annapurna massif. Chomrong has evolved into two separate settlements, new Chomrong at the top (2040m) and old Chomrong below (1950m), the main part of the village. Chomrong is the highest permanent settlement in the valley.Height: Chhomrong 2100m
The trail descends from Chhomrong to cross ChhomrongKhola before climbing steeply through a rhododendron and bamboo forest, up the west bank of the ModiKhola. Immediately after leaving, you reach the small settlement of KhuldiGhat before another steep descent into the valley. The trial follows the river through another tiny settlement known as Bamboo which has some tea houses and crosses three streams before arriving at Dovan (2430m) and overnight.Heights: Dovan 2430m
This morning you start a long climb through intermittent bamboo forest. The valley becomes increasingly hemmed in by ever steeper slopes and there are regular streams crossing on the trial. We retrace the way to Himalaya and stay overnight.Height: 2920
Retracing our way mostly through forest we arrive at Jhinu Danda where you could enjoy the natural hot spring.Heights: JhinuDanda 1700m

I had a wonderful time trekking the Tamang Heritage Trail with Highlander Nepal. Our guide and porter were highly professional and experienced. The views on the trail are amazing, and I highly recommend both Highlander Trekking & Expedition and the Tamang /Langtang region.
It was wow experience to be in the team for ABC trekking. Weather was not so good, but my bad, can't blame on that to Highlander. All the best for the team and hopefully I could manage EBC next year.
We, a team of 15 friends from Norway, are very pleased by Highlander’s very good guiding and service during our trekking. We reached the base camp on October 24. Great experience and fantastic scenery!
We had wonderful hike to Annapurna base camp. Thanks Highlander Trekking and a very warm and special thanks to our guide. You were excellent and we really enjoyed our time. We never had to worry about anything.
Congratulation to you and your team, you made it possible for us to complete our fist trek. This is not a small accomplishment as it made a guy of 125 kg able and happy to endure the trek with great joy. We will definitely have Nepal with fond memories of Nepal, the Nepalese people and the excellent service of Highlander.
Thank you very much for a very interesting and beautiful trek to Bhairab kunda. Highlander is a very professional company that has been a great help in our stay and travel in Nepal.
