As its name, Everest is Wonderful. We are heading to the famous village of Thame which is the home for many famous mountaineers and the last village of salt trading route of Nepal and Tibet.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to the Capital of Nepal “KATHMANDU”. Upon Arrival our representative will welcome you and drive you to Hotel. Refresh and Relax


Day 2: Explore Kathmandu

"Kathmandu" which has exclusive blend of art, culture, history and religion. It bears varieties from pre-history to modern art, culture and custom. Today we explore some of it most popular UNESCO heritage sites.  Afternoon walk around the main tourist hub of Kathmandu and prepare for your trek.


Day 3: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding

Early in the morning you head to the airport for your flight to Lukla. This is an approximately 45-minute flight with incredible mountain views north to the Himalayan Range. After meeting the crew in Lukla, you head up the Dudh Koshi River Valley on a well-marked trail to Phakding.

Heights: Kathmandu 1350m, Lukla 2840m, Phakding 2600m

Day 4: Phakding - Namche Bazaar

This morning you continue north following the Dudh Koshi river and on to Jorsale where you enter the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. From here it is a short walk to the confluence of two rivers, the lmja Drangpa (Imja Khola) and the Nangpo Tsangpo (Bhote Kosi) where you cross once more on a suspension bridge. This is followed by a steep climb (for about 2hrs) up to Namche Bazaar, the main town in the Khumbu region. Namche is a prosperous Sherpa town and an important trading centre with a weekly Saturday market.

Day 5: Namche - Thame

We turn away from the main Everest trail to join alpine trail through pine forest. We head up the bhote koshi river to thame once a popular trading route into Tibet. Chances of having a great view of Kwangde, Parchemuche, Tengi Tau. Explore the Sherpa village and old monastery in Thame.

Heights: Thame 3800m
Trekking time: approx.4-5 hours

Day 6: Thame - Khumjung

Our day start with gradual downhill walk for about one and half hour to Thamo from where we turn our direction and start gradual up hill and downhill via syangboche to Khunde from where we could have nice views over the mountain and visit old monastery and khunde hospital and follow the final level walk to Khumjung village which is one of the biggest Sherpa settlement in Everest region. Explore the Sherpa village, the old monastery with yeti scalp and enjoy the great view of Thamserku, kangtega.

Day 7: Khumjung - Tengboche

Today we will have 2 hours of downhill walk through pine forest up to phungi Thanga and after crossing the dudh koshi river we start out uphill walk all the way to Tegboche. On the way you could have view to world highest Mt. Everest. Take a short rest at Tengoche or enjoy the great view of Mt. Amadablam and other surrounding mountain before we head to visit the famous monastery of Everest region known as Tengboche monastery to see the ceremony.

Trekking time: approx.5 hours

Day 8: Tengboche - Monjo

From today we start our trip back to Kathmandu. We retrace the trail with downhill walk to phungi Thanka and about an hour of uphill walk takes us the Namche and steep downhill walk for about 2 hours takes us to another Sherpa village of Monjo.

Height: Monjo 2835m
Trekking time: approx.5 hours

Day 9: Monjo - Lukla

Final day of walking, gradual downhill up to phakding and gradual uphill form here takes us the lukla.

Height: Lukla 2840m
Trekking time: approx.4 hours

Day 10: Lukla fly back to Kathmandu

With all the good memories we take a short flight back to Kathmandu.
