With more than 25 years of experience in tourism and adventure sector in Nepal, Hari Dharel is the Managing Director of Fifty Plus Adventure.He has also been contributing to emergency rescue services for last 20 years as a Central Executive Member of Himalayan Rescue Association- a voluntary non-profit organization formed in 1973 to provide emergency rescue and evacuation in high altitude mountains and other challenging environment; provide critical medical support; organize medical camps and preventive education such as on Acute Mountain Sickness and awareness raising training for Nepalese and foreigners alike.
Dharel has been instrumental in identifying, opening and promotion of new trekking routes in different regions of Nepal.He is active in many social and humanitarian works such as supporting health and education in the impoverished communities and promoting environmental conservation in the Himalayan region.He was elected as the General Secretary of TAAN-Trekking Agents Association of Nepal
